Hayden’s Barbecue was established in 1948 by Roy Hayden and his wife Lily, who brought their ideas, recipes, and a passion for great food to Poplar Bluff. What started as a small local barbecue spot quickly became a community tradition.

For decades, Hayden’s has been known for two things above all else: slow-cooked barbecue made with care, and our famous pink lemonade that generations have grown up drinking. Families have celebrated milestones here, friends have gathered here, and countless memories have been made around our tables.

Today, our mission is simple: honor what made Hayden’s special while building something even better. We’re proud to preserve the classics our customers love, while introducing new menu items to complement the originals.
